Help, I replaced the entire heating element. Bought a new one from Amazon, installed it and no worky.

I know that engine. Many years back I was a mechanic at a local go-kart track and our cars used this engine. This is either a Kawasaki 340, or 440. It's an air cooled, two stroke, inline twin making between 30 and 50 horsepower depending on the induction system used. They are quite reliable. Kawasaki supplied these engines to John Deere for their snowmobiles. We used them with a single floatless carb and untuned exhaust, so they didn't develop their max power in our use, but properly set up the 440 could crank out 50HP easily. Has a fan cooler for the cylinders, can generate usable amounts of 12vdc, enough to keep a battery charged and run some electronics, at least. I'd be very confident flying behind one of those.

He's been advertising these engines for decades. Did he have a warehouse full of them when he started?

Hello from MN! Beautiful fall weather for sure. Nice roaster! I was given a StovePop and some green beans from a friend and just tried my hand at roasting. I used an induction burner for the heat source. I've done two batches so far and it actually turned out really well. Your machine looks like it can hold a much larger batch and is less hands on. Good job!
